Aretus (son of Nestor)
Aretos ( Greek Ἄρητος ) is a person of Greek mythology .
Aretus is a son of Nestor , in Homer Eurydice is given as his mother , in the library of Apollodor, however, Anaxibia . His siblings are Peisidike , Polycaste , Perseus , Stratichus , Peisistratos , Echephron , Antilochus and Thrasymedes .
In the case of a cow sacrifice in honor of the god Poseidon , he is the one who provides the water basin and a basket with sacred barley.
