Ariane Pejkovic (born September 10, 1986 in Hägglingen , née Ariane Geissmann ) is a former Swiss handball player .

Career

Ariane Pejkovic started playing handball at HC Ehrendingen in 1996. About the SC Siggenthal and TV Wohlen she came in 2004 to the TV type, where she made her debut in the National League A was. From 2005, the 1.65 meter tall circle runner played for LK Zug, from where she moved to the Danish club SK Aarhus in winter 2009 . A year later she went to Slovenia to the Rokometni Klub Krim , with which she won the Slovenian championship and the cup in 2011. From 2011 to 2013 Pejkovic was under contract with the German second division team TV Nellingen , after which she moved to the first division at TuS Metzingen . Before the 2014/15 season, she left Metzingen and returned to Zug. In 2015 she won the championship with the LK Zug. She ended her career in the summer of 2016.

For the Swiss national team , Ariane Pejkovic played 51 international matches , in which she scored 105 goals.

In addition to her handball career, Pejkovic has been working as an assistant team manager at the Swiss volleyball club VBC Voléro Zurich from summer 2014 . After Pejkovic then worked as a team manager at Voléro Zurich, she took on a position in the office of the Swiss Handball Federation in February 2019 .
