Ariel Rittenhouse Cevans (* 9. December 1990 in Menlo Park ) is a US-based water jumper . She starts in artificial jumping from the 1 m and 3 m board and in 3 m synchronized jumping. She is trained by Wenbo Chen.

Rittenhouse first trained in a gymnastics club and began diving at the age of seven. She studies at the University of Southern California and starts for the university's sports team, the USC Trojans .

She took part in the World Championships for the first time in Melbourne in 2007 and reached tenth place on the 3-meter board. In the same year she won silver in the 3-meter synchronized jumping with Kelci Bryant at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro . Also at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 she started with Kelci Bryant in the 3-meter synchronized jumping, but narrowly missed a medal in fourth. The duo also started at the 2009 World Championships in Rome and finished sixth, in the individual from the 3-meter board Rittenhouse was fifth.

Her uncle Mike Finneran was also a successful diver who reached the finals at the 1972 Olympic Games from the 3-meter board and the 10-meter tower. Her mother Sharon won, among other things, silver in the 400m medley at the 1964 Olympic Games .
