Arkadiusz Klimek (born March 25, 1975 in Iława ) is a Polish football player .

Career

Klimek's football player career began in 1993 in Susz with the Unia Susz football club . In 1994 he moved to Iława for Jeziorak Iława , after which he played from 1995 to 1998 at OKS Stomil Olsztyn . In the years 1998 to 2003 he appeared in Lubin at the football club Zagłębie Lubin as a striker .

In 2003 he moved abroad and played in the Greek football club Panionios Athens in Nea Smyrni until 2004 . After returning to Poland, he played one season in Płock with Wisła Płock and in 2005 moved to Lithuania for FBK Kaunas . From Kaunas from the loan to the Scottish football club Heart of Midlothian in Edinburgh , where he played for the first time on February 12, 2007 against Inverness Caledonian Thistle .

After several contusions he returned to Lithuania and at the beginning of January 2008 he moved to Latvia for FK Liepājas Metalurgs in Liepāja . Because of the unhealed knee injury, the contract with ŁKS Łódź was not canceled in July 2008. On September 16, 2008 he signed a contract in the hometown of Iława with the football club Jeziorak Iława.

From summer 2013 to 2015 Arkadiusz Klimek played for the GKS Wikielec club .
