Armengol Coll y Armengol CMF (born January 11, 1859 in Ivars d'Urgell , † April 21, 1918 in Santa Isabel ) was a Roman Catholic religious and apostolic vicar of Fernando Poo .
Life
Armengol Coll y Armengol joined the order of the Claretians and was ordained a priest on September 24, 1881 . Leo XIII. appointed him on August 1890 prefect of Fernando Poo . Pope Pius X appointed him on May 10, 1904 as Vicar Apostolic of Fernando Poo and Titular Bishop of Thignica .
The Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation De Propaganda Fide , Girolamo Maria Cardinal Gotti OCD , donated him episcopal ordination on June 19 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Diomede Panici , secretary of the Congregation for Rites , and Raffaele Virili .
