Luisa Scherer (born July 8, 2001 in Lörrach ) is a German handball player. She is under contract with Buxtehuder SV in the handball Bundesliga for the 2019/20 season .

Career

Scherer was born in Lörrach and grew up in Calw . The left-hander started playing handball at TSV Neuhengstett at the age of ten. After the D-Jugend she moved to SG H2Ku Herrenberg and later to TV Nellingen . There she was used for the first time in 2018 in the handball Bundesliga. For the 2019/20 season she moved to Buxtehuder SV . She currently also plays for the German national junior team.
