Caroline Müller-Korn (born August 30, 1993 in Lutherstadt Wittenberg , nee Caroline Müller ) is a German handball player who is under contract with the German first division club Buxtehuder SV . She is the younger sister of Sepp Müller, member of the Bundestag .

Career

Caroline Müller-Korn started playing handball at the age of six at VfL Graefenhainichen. From 2006, the former state selection player from Saxony-Anhalt ran for SV Union Halle-Neustadt . From summer 2008 she attended the sports academy of the Danish club Viborg HK . Although Müller-Korn was still a youth player, she was used sporadically in the first women's team, with which she won the Danish Cup in 2010.

In October 2011, the then youth national player was loaned for about a month by the German Bundesliga club HC Leipzig . Müller-Korn was signed by the Danish second division club Ringkøbing Håndbold after the end of the 2011/12 season. After the Danish club Aalborg DH was excluded from play in September 2013 due to its financial situation before the start of the season, Ringkøbing Håndbold moved up to the highest Danish league. From summer 2014 she played for the German Bundesliga club VfL Oldenburg . In the summer of 2017 she joined Borussia Dortmund . For the 2020/21 season, Müller-Korn moved to Buxtehuder SV .

National team

On October 7, 2016, she played her first game in the international match against Spain. So far she has played 6 games in which she has not scored a goal.
