Annika Lott (born December 7, 1999 in Henstedt-Ulzburg ) is a German handball player who plays in the Bundesliga for Buxtehuder SV .

Career

In the club

Annika Lott learned to play handball in her hometown at SV Henstedt-Ulzburg . After Lott ran up as the then C-youth in the 2013/14 season for the B-youth of JSG Alstertal / Norderstedt, she returned to SV Henstedt-Ulzburg. With the SVHU she won the bronze medal at the German B youth championship in 2015. In 2016, the backcourt player moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen . A year later, Lott was German runner-up with the A-youth and was also voted the best player in the Final Four tournament . In 2018 she won the German A youth championship with Bayer 04 Leverkusen. In addition, from 2016 she played for Bayer 04 Leverkusen's 2nd team in the 3rd division .

Lott moved to the German Bundesliga club Buxtehuder SV for the 2018/19 season . In her Bundesliga debut on September 8, 2018, she scored six goals.

In selection teams

Lott ran for the German youth and junior national team. With these teams she took part in the U-17 European Championship in 2015 , in the U-19 European Championship in 2017 and in the U-20 World Championship in 2018 .
