Arnaud Langel (born June 2, 1985 in Pontarlier ) is a French biathlete .

Arnaud Langel lives in Châtelblanc and starts for RC Chaux Neuve . He has been practicing biathlon since 2000. Since 2004 he has competed in the Junior European Cup. In his first outing in Méribel he came in sprint 34th. The following season he came in ninth in Obertilliach for the first time in the top ten, in Ridnaun he won a relay race with Alexis Bœuf , Vincent Jay and Damien Gehin. At the Junior World Championship in Presque Isle , which took place only a little later , Langel won gold with the relay in the same line-up. He finished his three appearances in the individual races between positions 20 and 24. The subsequent European Junior Championship in Langdorf also brought results between positions 24 and 25 in the individual starts. With the relay in which Jean Guillaume replaced Beatrix Gehin, he won the there Bronze medal.

Langel has been competing in the senior biathlon European Cup since 2006 . His first use was a sprint race at the season opener in Obertilliach. A little later he won first points in the same place as 21st in the pursuit. A year later he reached a top ten placement for the first time in fourth in the individual in Obertilliach. Several good results followed. In the end, Langel finished third in the overall standings behind his compatriot Vincent Porret and the German Toni Lang . At the European Championships in Nové Město na Moravě , ninth place in the individual was the best result.
