Alexis Bœuf (born March 4, 1986 in Chambéry ) is a former French biathlete .

Alexis Bœuf started biathlon in 2000. He starts for CS La Féclaz and is coached by Remi Bouchet. The Chamberyer ran his first international race in 2004 as part of the Junior European Cup. In 2005 he took part in a Junior World Championship for the first time in Kontiolahti and achieved placings between 15 and 24. In the following season, the young Frenchman won his first race in the Junior European Cup in Ridnaun . At the Junior World Championships 2006 in Presque Isle , he not only finished eighth in the sprint and nine in the pursuit, but also won the gold medal in the relay race with Vincent Jay , Damien Gehin and Arnaud Langel. With Jean Guillaume Beatrix for Gehin, the relay won bronze shortly after at the European Junior Championships in Langdorf . Bœuf also finished sixth in the sprint and eighth in the pursuit. At the last Junior World Championships in 2007 in Martell , ninth place was the best result in the pursuit. Bœuf has won races in the Junior European Cup seven times and has made it onto the podium twice.

Bœuf has been running with the seniors since the 2007/08 season . First he started in the Biathlon European Cup . Already at the second stop in Torsby , the Frenchman finished third in the sprint on the podium. In Bansko in the pursuit and in Langdorf in the individual, he was able to take second place. Because of the good results he was nominated by the French Federation for the World Cup races in Pyeongchang . Bœuf took his chance and won his first World Cup points after a 38th place in the sprint as 16th in the pursuit. For the first time on the podium, Alexis Bœuf came third in the 2009/2010 season in an individual in Antholz. The following season , he won his first World Cup race in a pursuit race at Presque Isle. Behind the Fourcade brothers Martin and Simon and Vincent Jay , he was able to establish himself as one of the four best French biathletes of the season.

At the Biathlon World Championships 2013 in Nové Město na Moravě , Bœuf reached the sixth place in the sprint, eighth in the pursuit after two shooting errors, 27th in the individual and 28th in the mass start. He won two silver medals, one with the men's relay and one with the mixed relay. In the Olympic Games of Sochi , he was 82 the function SINGLE roller with the season in France. At the end of 2014 he announced his retirement from competitive sports.
