Arnd Schimkat (born January 28, 1969 in Graefelfing ) is a German actor , comedian and author from Munich .

biography

Schimkat received his acting training in Paris at the theater school of Jacques Lecoq , with John Costopoulos of the Actors Studio New York and at HB Studio , New York.

Since 2003 he has been active as Arthur Senkrecht with his own programs. Numerous roles as an actor for cinema and television followed, for example in the movies Nordwand , in Otto Waalkes ' comedy Otto’s Eleven , or in Marcus H. Rosenmüller's comedy Who dies earlier is dead longer .

Schimkat also succeeds as an author. In 2014 the novel "Highway to Hellas", written together with Moses Wolff and for which the two authors also wrote the screenplay, was filmed with Christoph Maria Herbst and Adam Bousdoukos .
