Arnel Jakupovic (born May 29, 1998 ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
society
Jakupovic started his career at ASV Asparn / Zaya . In 2005 he moved to FC Stadlau . In 2009 he joined the youth team at FK Austria Wien . Having previously played in the academy, he made his debut in April 2015 for the amateurs of Austria in the Regionalliga when he takes on 20th matchday of the 2014/15 season against First Vienna FC in the 87th minute for Michael finite came on .
In the summer of 2015 Jakupovic moved to England for Middlesbrough FC . At Middlesbrough he was used in the U-18, U-19 and U-23 teams.

After making his first appearance in the professional squad in April 2017, he made his Serie A debut in May 2017 when he came on as a substitute for José Mauri on matchday 35 of the 2016/17 season against Bologna FC in the 88th minute . With the club, he was relegated to Serie B in 2017 .
In January 2018 Jakupovic moved to Juventus Turin , where he was used in the A-youth and not in the professionals. For the 2018/19 season he returned to Empoli, which had since been promoted back to Serie A, but was not used. came in January 2019 he returned to Austria on loan and switched to SK Sturm Graz . For Sturm he made six appearances in the Bundesliga .
After the loan ended, he returned to the now second-rate FC Empoli for the 2019/20 season. It was awarded to the NK Domžale in Slovenia in August 2019 without commitment . In July 2020 he was firmly signed by the Slovenes and received a contract until May 2023.
National team
Jakupovic played for an Austrian selection for the first time in September 2013. In 2015 , he took part in the European Championship with the U-17 team .
In the same year Jakupovic made his debut for Austria's U-19 team . With 12 hits, he is the record scorer in the U-19 team. In 2016 he took part in the U-19 European Championship with Austria .
In September 2016, he played his first game for the U-21s against Russia . In that game, he was even able to score the 1-1 final score.
