The Sea-River Liner 3700 is a type of coaster from the shipping company Wijnne Barends, which belongs to the Spliethoff Group . The type was developed by Conoship International and Groot Ship Design and at the shipyard built Groningen Shipyard in Waterhuizen. A total of twelve units were built, which at Wijnne Barends form the “Lady A Class”. The first four ships of the type came into service in 2012, eight more followed in 2015 and 2016.

The ships are from a four-stroke - eight-cylinder - diesel engine of the manufacturer Caterpillar (model: 3508C) with 749 kW power driven, of a way of a reduction gear fixed propeller acts. You can reach a speed of around 10 kn . Two diesel generator sets with 388 kVA and 140 kVA apparent power are available for power generation. Caterpillar diesel engines are used, which drive Scania generators . An emergency generator with 82 kVA was also installed. The ships are equipped with a bow thruster with an output of 265 kW. Thanks to the power of the main engine under 750 kW, the ships can be operated without a chief engineer .
The deck superstructures are located in the rear of the ships. They offer space for seven crew members who are accommodated in individual chambers. The bridge is separated from the deckhouse and hydraulically adjustable in height. The masts can also be folded down to cross under bridges . With the bridge down and the masts folded, the height above the waterline and a draft of 3.40 meters is still 8.50 meters.
A box-shaped hold is located in front of the superstructure . It is 62.3 meters long, 10.8 meters wide and 7.73 meters high. The volume of the hold is 5,163 m³. The hold is closed with ten pontoon hatch covers, which can be moved using a hatch trolley. The tank top can be loaded with 15 t / m², the hatch cover with 1.85 t / m².

The ships sail under the Dutch flag with home port Delfzijl .

The ship design also serves as the basis for modified buildings. In 2017 the Scot Navigator was built for the British company Scotline. The ship has the same dimensions as the units of type u built for Wijnne Barends. a. a solid bridge.
