Arnold Koeppen
Arnold Koeppen (born April 13, 1875 in Brandenburg an der Havel ; † February 12, 1940 in Berlin ) was a German teacher and writer .
Life
Born as the son of a teacher in Brandenburg an der Havel , he first attended high school there, but then in Genthin the preparatory institute and the teachers' college . He first worked as a teacher in Ziesar and in his hometown. From 1903 to 1930 he was vice principal at the Lyceum in Pyritz in the province of Pomerania .
Koeppen was active as a writer and published poems, short stories and dramatic works. At times he was editor of the magazine Unser Pommerland .
