Arnulf Pahlitzsch (born August 26, 1933 - † July 7, 2013 ) was a soccer player who played in the top soccer class of the GDR , the major league for SC Lokomotive Leipzig and SG Dynamo Dresden .

Career

Pahlitzsch began his football career with the company sports community (BSG) Lokomotive Pirna . As a 19-year-old striker, he was involved in the promotion of the first men's team to the third-class Dresden district league in 1953 . During the 1954/55 season he was delegated to the league club SC Lok Leipzig, where he made his debut in the league on February 27, 1955. In the match between SC Chemie Halle-Leuna and SC Lok (1-0) he was used by coach Alfred Kunze as a half-right striker instead of Heinz Fröhlich, who was not ready for action . Only in the course of the 1956 season, the game plan had since been changed to the calendar year, was Pahlitzsch able to play his way into the regular team under the new coach Fritz Wittenbecher . But he lost this status again in the following season in 1957, because he was only used in three league point games in March and April.

After 27 games in the league (including the transition round in 1955) and two championship goals, Pahlitzsch ended his affiliation with SC Lok Leipzig after the first half of the 1957 season. After a short interlude at BSG Stahl Freital in the now fourth-class district league Dresden, he moved to the district league competitor Dynamo Dresden in 1957, which he helped to rise to the 2nd GDR league in the same season . As early as 1958, Pahlitzsch rose to the first GDR league with Dynamo , and in the 1961/62 season, when the schedule had been changed back to the summer-spring rhythm, Pahlitzsch was one of the assets of the promotion with 38 stakes and seven goals in the GDR league.

In the following league season of Dresden 1962/63 Pahlitzsch was in 24 point games as a right inner striker with the game and scored five goals. Dynamo Dresden, however, did not manage to maintain its top class in the GDR and had to compete in the GDR league again in 1963/64. After the immediate resurgence, Pahlitzsch completed his last league season in 1964/65. The now 31-year-old was used in eleven games in the first half of the series, but in the second half of the season he was only used in three league games and he did not score any more. In his two league seasons for Dynamo Dresden he played 38 times in the league, so that his season in Leipzig came to a total of 65 first division appearances, in which he was successful with seven goals.
