The Arroyo Maciel is a river in Uruguay .
The river, which belongs to the catchment area of the Río Uruguay, rises a few kilometers northwest of the city of José Enrique Rodó in the Cuchilla del Bizcocho . From there it flows in the area of the Soriano department in a westerly direction. It crosses under Ruta 2 , passes the Cerro del Tigre on the left bank , where the del Juncal opens on the opposite side and is fed by numerous tributaries along the entire course. It flows into the Cuchilla del Corralito a few kilometers east of Cañada Nieto as a right-hand tributary into the Río San Salvador .
