The Arroyo Maneco is a river in northern Uruguay . It forms part of the western border of the Rincón de Artigas area claimed by Uruguay and Brazil .

It arises from the confluence of the Cuchilla Negra in the border area of the Uruguayan departments of Artigas and Salto in Masoller springing Arroyo de la Línea and Arroyo de los Caraguatás . Together these form the Arroyo Maneco , which flows north and flows into the Arroyo de la Invernada as a left tributary a few kilometers east of the Cerro Sepulturas .
