The Arroyo Yacuy is a river in western Uruguay .

It rises in the Cuchilla de Belén in the Artigas department southeast of Baltasar Brum . From there it flows in a wide curve to the south in a westerly direction. From Paso de la Tuna it forms the border to the Salto Department . It finally flows into the north of the city of Belén as a left-hand tributary into the Río Uruguay .
