Artemio Franchi

Artemio Franchi (born January 8, 1922 in Florence , † August 12, 1983 in Siena ) was an Italian football official.
He was President of UEFA from 1973 until his death in a traffic accident in 1983 . In his honor, the stadiums of the Italian clubs AC Florence and AC Siena were renamed Stadio Artemio Franchi . He was buried on the Cimitero di Soffiano in Florence .
In the 1981 found list of members of Propaganda Due , Franchi is listed as number 402.
