Arthur Allman Bullock

Arthur Allman Bullock (born February 8, 1906 in Grimsby , England , † October 24, 1980 in Kew ) was an English botanist . Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Bullock ".

Live and act

He worked at the herbarium at Kew Gardens from 1929 to 1968. His specialties were the plants from South Africa , Madagascar and the Mascarene Islands , as well as those from the Asclepiadaceae family .

Honors

Reynolds named Aloe bullockii after him . The plant genus Bullockia (Bridson) Razafim., Lantz & B.Bremer from the family of the redness plants (Rubiaceae) is named after him.
