Arthur Francis Benjamin Guinness, 3rd Earl of Iveagh (born May 20, 1937 , † June 18, 1992 in London ) was a British-Irish politician .

Arthur Guinness was born in 1937 to Arthur Onslow Edward Guinness, Viscount Elveden, (1912–1945) and Elizabeth Cecilia Guinness, b. Hare (* 1914; alive 2009) was born. He attended Eton College in Berkshire and studied at Trinity College of the University of Cambridge and at the University of Grenoble in France .

After the death of his grandfather Rupert Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh , Arthur Guinness inherited the title of Earl of Iveagh in 1967 . His father, the actual heir to the title, died in 1945 in World War II .

In 1973 he was appointed a member of the 13th Seanad Éireann by Taoiseach Liam Cosgrave . He was also a member of the British House of Lords as Earl of Iveagh since 1967 .

Guinness died in 1992 at the age of 55.
