Arthur von Klüchtzner

Arthur Casimir Ferdinand Wolter Baron von Klüchtzner (born September 22, 1842 in Wolgund ( Valgunde ) near Mitau in Courland , † May 16, 1912 in Goldingen ) was a German-Baltic landowner and politician .

Life

Arthur von Klüchtzner was born the son of the landowner Ludwig Baron von Klüchtzner and his wife Elisabeth, née Baroness von Simolin. From the winter semester 1863/1864 until winter semester 1864/1865 he studied at the University of Zurich economics . He joined Baltica Zurich right at the start of his studies . He then studied agronomy at the University of Berlin from the summer semester of 1865 to the winter semester of 1865/1866 . After completing his studies, he returned to Courland.

From 1867 to 1885 von Klüchtzner was the heir of Warnowitz in the Illuxt district and from 1881 to 1883 the aristocratic district marshal of the Illuxt district. From 1890 he was a commissioner in peasant affairs in Windau . He was an honorary peace judge .
