Artur Hoffmann (born November 5, 1902 in Berlin ; † December 5, 1975 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Artur Hoffmann attended elementary school and did an apprenticeship as an insurance salesman . He worked as a commercial clerk in printing and publishing companies . In 1920 he joined the Central Association of Employees (ZdA), the SPD and the Reichsbanner Schwarz-Rot-Gold . From 1926 to 1933 Hoffmann was the main cashier of the book organization “ Der Bücherkreis ”. After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists , he was arrested in 1933 and subsequently became unemployed. From 1935 he worked as a business economist in various large companies.

After the Second World War , Hoffmann was self-employed and from 1952 a clerk . Since Erfrid Heinecke was elected as district councilor in the Schöneberg district, Hoffmann moved up to the Berlin House of Representatives in April 1956 . In the 1958 election he was re-elected to parliament, in 1963 he left parliament.
