Erfrid Heinecke

Gunther Erfrid Heinecke (also Gunther Elfrid Heinecke , Gunther Erfried Heinecke ; born May 31, 1898 in Frankfurt (Oder) , † June 3, 1968 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Erfrid Heinecke came to Berlin as a child and graduated from high school there. He studied political science at Berlin University and received his doctorate in 1923. Initially, he worked as a research assistant at the Carnegie Foundation , but from 1925 he was on the management board of the Reich Association of German Industry (RDI). In 1935, Heinecke was dismissed for political reasons and then wrote detective novels.

After the Second World War , Heinecke joined the SPD in 1945. He worked as a journalist for the daily newspaper Der Abend and later as a commentator for the radio station RIAS . From 1949 he was a freelance journalist. After the Berlin election in 1950 , Heinecke became a district councilor in the Wilmersdorf district in 1951 . In the following election in 1954 he was first elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, but in March 1956 he was elected to the district councilor in the Schöneberg district. In 1963 he left for reasons of age.
