Arturo Albarrán (born October 16, 1979 in Mexico City ) is a former Mexican and naturalized Salvadoran football player who mainly played in midfield .

career

Albarrán began his football career in the youth division of his home club UNAM Pumas , for which he first appeared in the top Mexican division on October 3, 1999 in a home game against Santos Laguna (6-0) . But while he was used a total of eight times in his first half season , the Apertura 1999, his playing time was reduced to three in the second half of the same season, while he made his only appearance in the preliminary round of the following 2000/01 season in a 2-2 draw against Atlético Celaya Graduated on November 18, 2000.

Since then he has only played for Mexican second division clubs and teams in El Salvador.
