Astorgio Agnesi
Astorgio Agnesi (* 1389 in Naples , † October 10, 1451 in Rome ) was a cardinal of the Catholic Church .
The ecclesiastical career of this cleric from the Neapolitan nobility continued in 1411 with the appointment as Bishop of Mileto by the antipope John XXIII. one, which was followed by the transfer to Ravello in 1413 . Martin V appointed Agnesi bishop of Melfi in 1418 , and in 1419 he moved him to Ancona . From 1436 on, Agnesi was Archbishop of Benevento and was made cardinal of the titular church of Sant'Eusebio by Pope Nicholas V on December 20, 1448 .
