Astrup is a small town in the Danish municipality of Mariagerfjord with 515 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). Before the municipal reform in 2007 , the village belonged to the municipality of Arden , which was combined with the municipality of Hadsund , the municipality of Hobro and the western part of the municipality of Mariager to form the municipality of Mariagerfjord.

Astrup is eight kilometers east of Arden , eleven kilometers northwest of Hadsund and six kilometers north of Rostrup .
