Atahan Menekşe (born April 17, 1986 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
society
Menekşe began club football in the youth of Sarıyer SK and was involved here in 2005 as a professional player in the professional squad. Here he played until the summer of 2009. Only the second half of the season he spent as a loan player with league rivals Zeytinburnuspor . For the 2009 season he moved to the second division club Dardanelspor , but went to league rivals Kocaelispor after only half a season . He then played in sequence with the third division Adana Demirspor , Sarıyer SK and Bozüyükspor .
After his contract with Bozüyükspor expired in the summer of 2012, he moved to the first division club Sanica Boru Elazığspor . For the winter break of the 2012/13 season he left Elazığspor.
After leaving Elazığspor, he moved a few days later to the second division Denizlispor .
For the new 2013/14 season, his contract was terminated at the end of August. Shortly afterwards, he came to an agreement with third division club Gaziosmanpaşaspor . Here, however, he only played one game because he could no longer be used due to an injury.
In spring 2014 Menekşe moved back to Denizlispor, but was only used once. For the 2014/15 season he signed for one year with the third division club Ofspor .
