Atchima Eng-Chuan (born February 10, 1990 ) is a Thai sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter distance and was particularly successful with the Thai 4-by-400-meter relay.

Athletic career

In 2008 Atchima Eng-Chuan took part in the Junior Asian Championships in Jakarta , where she won the gold medal with the 4 x 100 meter relay and just missed another fourth with the 4 x 400 meter relay. She also took part in the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where she was eliminated over 200 meters and with the 4 x 400 meter relay in the heats. In 2013 she won the gold medal with the relay at the Southeast Asian Games in Naypyidaw and took fourth place in the individual competition over 400 meters. In 2014 she won the silver medal with the relay at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou, China . At the Asian Games in Incheon , she was eliminated in the individual competition in the preliminary run and finished fourth in the season. She also won a medal with the relay at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore , this time silver. At the Universiade in Gwangju , she reached seventh place with the relay. In 2017 she finished fifth in the relay at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar, India . At the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur , she won the silver medal with the relay. In the same week the student took the University of Bangkok at the World Student Games in part in Taipei, reaching the season in seventh place. At the beginning of September she won the gold medal with the relay at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games 2017 in Ashgabat and the bronze medal over 400 meters with a new Thai record.
