Athos Tanzini (born January 30, 1913 in Livorno , † September 28, 2008 in Malindi , Kenya ) was an Italian sword fencer .
successes
Athos Tanzini took in 1936 at the Olympic Games in Berlin in part, in which he reached with the Italian team the final round. In this he and the team only had to admit defeat to Hungary and won the silver medal together with Giulio Gaudini , Gustavo Marzi , Aldo Masciotta , Aldo Montano and Vincenzo Pinton . Shortly after the games he ended his fencing career.
