Atsushi Shirota ( Japanese 代 田 敦 資 , Shirota Atsushi ; born November 6, 1991 in Nagasaki Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Atsushi Shirota learned to play soccer at the National Institute of Fitness and Sports Kanoya in Japan. In 2015 he was under contract with the Japanese club V-Varen Nagasaki . The Nagasaki club played in the second division . In 2016 he moved to Singapore to Albirex Niigata (Singapore) . The club is an offshoot of the Japanese second division club Albirex Niigata and played in Singapore's highest football league, the S. League . In 2016 he celebrated the Singapore championship with the club. In the same year he won the Singapore Cup and the Singapore Community Shield . In the final of the Singapore Cup they defeated the Tampines Rovers 2-0, the game in the Community Shield against Brunei DPMM FC they won 3-2. After 23 top division games, he moved to league rivals Hougang United in 2017 . For Hougang, he completed 23 games in the first division. He left Singapore in 2018. In Cambodia , Phnom Penh Crown signed him. With the club from Phnom Penh he played in the first division, the Cambodian League . After 12 games, he ended his career as a football player at the end of 2018.
