Reviews

“The movie 'Attention - A Life in Extremes' deals with the phenomenon of extreme sports from a critical distance. The 80-minute documentary reports in impressive images about the lives of three extreme athletes - the Norwegian wingsuit pilot Halvor Angvik, the French freediver Guillaume Néry and the Austrian extreme cyclist Gerhard Gulewicz - as well as their striving to push their own limits and set new records. Based on these stories and with the help of interviews with philosophers like Konrad Paul Liessmann, the makers of the film offer an unusual perspective on the increasingly extreme forms of our society.
