Aue 86
The Aue 86 property is a residential and commercial building in the Elberfeld-Mitte residential area of Wuppertal in the Elberfeld district .
Building description
The two-storey house with a richly structured plastered facade on the front facing the Aue street was designed with five axes and is accessed via a centrally located entrance. Following the typical Bergisch construction it was a dormer with gable roof executed on the right of the Zwerchhaus a dormer is. The ground floor was expanded as a shop , but is now used as a restaurant.
The four-story listed residential and commercial building Aue 84 adjoins the eastern gable wall . A new building from the second half of the 20th century adjoins the western side, separated by a narrow lane.
history
The house from the 19th century was entered on February 29, 1988 as an architectural monument in the monument list of the city of Wuppertal. In 1989 the house was renovated.
