The Auebachtal , occasionally also called Aubachtal , is a nature reserve with a size of around 13.9 hectares in the municipality of Rödinghausen, which belongs to the Herford district . The name of the area with the number HF-020 is the Große Aue .

Flora and fauna

The area protects a well pronounced Sieksystem as for the Ravensberger hills is typical, especially close to nature pronounced deciduous forest , wetlands and wet meadows, Hochstaudenfluren , reeds and Seggenrieder , as well as the communities and in flowing and still waters.
