August Beuermann

Ludwig August Beuermann (born December 14, 1867 in Elvershausen in the western Harz, † October 15, 1930 in Hanover ) was a German politician of the DVP .

Life and work

After attending the elementary school in Elvershausen , Beuermann, who was of Protestant faith, graduated from the preparatory institute and the teachers' seminar in Alfeld (Leine) from 1882 to 1888 . After he was first a teacher in Sarstedt near Hanover and then at the preparatory institute in Alfeld, he became a seminar teacher in Wunstorf near Hanover in 1893 . In addition, from 1892 to 1899 he was a guest student for geography, history and literature at the universities in Berlin , Jena and Nancy . In 1907 he went to Adelnau in Posen as a district school inspector and from 1912 to Fraustadt in the same position . At Easter 1919 he moved to Hameln - again as a district school inspector .

Beuermann was a member of the Weimar National Assembly in 1919/20 as a member of the constituency 'Province of Posen 8'. He was then a member of the Reichstag until December 1924 . From 1924 until his death he was a member of the state parliament in Prussia .
