August Brauser
August Georg Brauser (born September 4, 1833 in Regensburg ; † 1901 there ) was a German physician .
Life
August Brauser studied medicine at the Universities of Erlangen , Würzburg , Leipzig and Berlin . In 1853 he became a member of the Corps Bavaria Erlangen . After completing your studies with a doctorate to become a Dr. med. he was from 1857 to 1858 assistant at the surgical university clinic in Erlangen under Carl Thiersch . Then he settled as a general practitioner in Regensburg. As such, he published regularly in medical journals. Until 1894 he was a member of the executive committee of the German Medical Association and then chairman of the Upper Palatinate Medical Association until his death .
Awards
August Brauser was appointed Royal Bavarian Councilor in 1889 .
