August Kaul

August Kaul (born February 13, 1873 in Hamburg , † 1949 in Düsseldorf - Kaiserswerth ) was a German landscape painter and graphic artist from the Düsseldorf School of Painting .

Life

Kaul attended the Düsseldorf Art Academy . He was a student of the landscape painter Eugen Dücker and the genre painter Olof Jernberg . From 1906 he exhibited at the great Berlin art exhibitions and in the Munich Glass Palace . From 1910 he lived in Kaiserswerth, where he also died.
