August Seidensticker
August Seidensticker (born March 7, 1820 in Coppenbrügge , † October 14, 1899 in Göttingen ) was a German forest scientist and non-fiction author.
He attended the Andreanum grammar school and then the Georg-August University in Göttingen . From 1841 he was employed as a forester in various German states: in Aerzen , Marienau , Nienover , Schoningen , Hanover , Lüneburg and Frankfurt (Oder) .
