August Wieser
August Wieser Ritter von Moraviaheim (born May 17, 1847 in Brno , † March 27, 1916 there ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician .
Life
Born as the son of the poet and first presidential secretary of the Moravian Parliament and Imperial Councilor Joseph Ritter Wieser von Moraviaheim, August Ritter Wieser von Moraviaheim studied law in Vienna after attending grammar school in Brno . During his studies in 1865 he became a member of the Vienna fraternity Braune Arminia . He was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . From 1873 he worked as a lawyer in Brno, where he was elected to the municipal committee in 1881. He was also a member of the district school board and from 1883 was a member of the management of the mortgage bank of the Margraviate of Moravia , and later its first deputy chairman. In 1894 he became mayor of Brno and a member of the Moravian Parliament; elected in the 1st district. He remained both until his death in 1916.
