August Wilhelm von Bismarck

August Wilhelm von Bismarck (born July 7, 1750 in Berlin ; † February 3, 1783 ) was a Prussian finance minister.

Bismarck was born the son of the Prussian Minister of Justice Levin-Friedrich von Bismarck . In 1772 he became a trainee lawyer at the Court of Appeal and in 1775 Legation Counselor in the Prussian Foreign Ministry, in the same year he was appointed chamberlain and sent as envoy extraordinary to the court of King Christian VII of Denmark in Copenhagen , where Ove Høegh-Guldberg took care of the sick king Business conducted. After his return in 1782, he became the Prussian Finance Minister as a Privy Councilor in the General Directory .

He was buried in the church cemetery of his inherited manor Hirschfelde .
