action

Izumi comes to a new high school in Genkai in Fukuoka Prefecture and meets her classmates Mao and Ukiya there. Ukiya falls in love with her and therefore consults a fortune teller, Miki, whether his love has a chance. The fortune teller says that he and Izumi are not a match, but that Mao is better suited to a relationship with Izumi. The fortune teller also says that an accident would happen to Izumi during the sports festival.

Izumi is a talented high diver . At the sports festival, she hits the water unhappily and experiences a near-death experience in the swimming pool. At about the same time, a meteorite strikes near the city. This triggers a drought in the city and is responsible for the spread of a serious disease among the residents.

Together with Mao and Izumi, Izumi travels to a spring on Mount Miko and finds a large stone surrounded by other stones that reminds her of a shape that she felt during the near-death experience. A man suffering from a disease that is spreading across the city steals the meteorite, and at the same time Izumi disappears. The next morning, he and Izumi are found sleeping by the stone.

Some people in the city see a connection between the mysterious events (disease, drought, meteorite) and the stone. Miki speaks of Izumi having to sacrifice himself to bring happiness back to the city. Izumi sacrifices himself. Then it rains.
