August van Aaken
August van Aaken SVD (born July 6, 1914 in Kevelaer ; † August 11, 1990 ) was a Roman Catholic bishop in Paraguay .
Life
On April 28, 1941, August van Aaken received the sacrament of ordination for the Steyler missionaries .
July 25, 1972 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Achyraus and ordered him to the prelates of Alto Paraná . Antonio Innocenti donated him episcopal ordination on August 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Asunción , Ismael Blas Rolón Silvero , and the Bishop of Villarrica , Felipe Santiago Benítez Ávalos . In 1989 he received the Federal Cross of Merit with a star.
