August Gustav Joseph Edler von Hayek , since the Nobility Repeal Act 1919 August Hayek, (born December 14, 1871 in Vienna , Austria-Hungary , † June 11, 1928 ibid) was an Austrian doctor and botanist . Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Hayek ".
Life
August von Hayek was a son of Gustav von Hayek . From 1926 he was a university professor at the University of Vienna . His achievements in the field of plant geography of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy (especially in Styria) and the Balkans are significant.
August Hayek was buried in the cemetery of the Simmering fire hall (Department 1, Ring 2, Group 3, Number 13). He is the father of the economist Friedrich August von Hayek .
