Augusta is a location in Lewis and Clark County , Montana , United States . It is a census-designated place (CDP). At the last census in 2000 there were 284 inhabitants. The place is named after DJ Hogan's daughter, an early rancher. Augusta belongs to the Helena Micropolitan Statistical Area around Helena .
