The Aumühlbach , also called Mühlbach , is a 1.8 km long, southern and orographically left tributary of the Isar in the Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen .

course

In the past:
Historical maps show that the Aumühle received the water it needed from a branch of the Isar before the Mühltalkanal ( Isar Canal ) was built. The original course of the stream, including that of the Aumühlbach, was modified during the construction of the canal.

Today:
The Aumühlbach arises east of the Mühltalkanal near the Eglingen hamlet of Aumühle from the confluence of the Rothbach on the right and the Dreibrunnenbach on the left . It crosses under the canal through a culvert and then flows through the Isarauen nature
reserve between Schäftlarn and Bad Tölz to the confluence with the Isar .
