Aurel Lenfert
Aurel Lenfert (born July 9, 1971 in Recklinghausen ) is a German set and costume designer .
Life
After finishing school, Aurel Lenfert completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter in Cologne. He also studied stage design at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Karl Kneidl and became his master class in 2004.
Lenfert has been working as a freelance stage and costume designer at various theaters in Germany, Switzerland and Austria since 2004. Lenfert has been working with director Susanne Lietzow for many years.
Lenfert has staged at the Burgtheater Vienna, the Thalia Theater Hamburg , the Stadttheater Klagenfurt , the Schauspiel Hannover , the Bregenz Festival , the Avignon Festival and the Salzburg Festival .
