From the home is a polka mazur by Johann Strauss Sohn (op. 347). The work was performed for the first time on June 2, 1871 in the Volksgarten in Vienna .

Remarks

The work was based on motifs from the operetta Indigo and the 40 Robbers . It thus joins a series of works (opus numbers 343 , 344 , 345 , 346 , 348 , 349 , 350 and 351 ) that take up all the themes from this operetta. The name title is derived from the text of a song number from this stage work. The premiere of the Polka in the Vienna Volksgarten was conducted by Eduard Strauss .
