Committee community

A committee community is the amalgamation of several members of a parliament or a community body in order to be able to send joint representatives to the committee's committees . In contrast to a parliamentary group , a committee group cannot assume common political goals.

In Bavaria this option is expressly available for the district assembly , for the district assembly and for the city and community councils . The rules of procedure of the respective body can then further define the legal status of a committee community.
