The Munich-South-West motorway triangle (abbreviation: AD München-Süd-West ; short form: Munich-South-West triangle ) is a motorway triangle in Bavaria in the Munich metropolitan region . It connects the federal motorway 96 with the federal motorway 99 ( Munich motorway ring ).

State of development

The A 96 can be driven on six lanes to the west and east. The A 99 in the north has four lanes. All reconciliations are two-lane.

The triangle is laid out in a Y-shape.

Originally it was planned to continue the A 99 in a southeast direction to the A 995 to close the motorway ring around Munich. This project has been postponed for an indefinite period.

Traffic volume

The triangle is used by around 126,000 vehicles every day.
