The Tempelhof motorway junction (officially: Tempelhof motorway triangle ) is an extended junction in the Berlin district of Tempelhof-Schöneberg . It was planned as a motorway junction in 1965 , but ultimately only completed as a junction. It was planned that the A 102 coming from the north should encompass the former Tempelhof Airport in the east and meet the A 100 there.
In 1981 the Berlin city ring was extended to the planned Kreuz Tempelhof and today's junction Gradestrasse was completed. The A 102 should be that of Pankow located A 114 via the A 106 to the southern Berliner Ring (A 10) at Rangsdorf extend. In 2000 the Berlin city ring was extended to the east and runs to the Neukölln motorway triangle .
Today's AS Gradestrasse is located between Tempelhof Airport, which was closed on October 30, 2008, in the north and the Teltow Canal in the south.
